Ogasawara Islands as a new subject. The islands have been nominated as World
Heritage sites.

Kazuyoshi MIYOSHI
He has been kept taking pictures on the subject of “Paradise” in many
places of the world such as Tahiti, Maldives, Sahara, Himalayas, and
Antarctica since he had visited Okinawa at the age of 13.
At the age of 17 he had a private exhibition at Nikon Salon in Ginza. Since
then he has been putting on many solo exhibitions. At the age of 27 he won
“Kimura Ihei award”, which has kept a constant attention, with photo
collection “RAKUEN” and became the youngest winner of the award.
In recent years, he has been focusing on taking pictures in the places such
as Mt. Fuji , Yakushima Island and Yoshino River, his hometown within the
country. His works have been retained at New York George Eastman house
international Museum of Photography and film as their permanent collections.
From 1999 to 2004, The Japan Foundation purchased his works "The World
Heritage of Japan", 17 sets of 59 points composition in series and has been
occasionally planning and organizing to hold photo exhibitions at Japan
Culture Center around the world.
He won “ Photo culture award by Fujimoto Shihachi ” in 2004.
His work “88 places in Shikoku” has been published (issued) as a postage
stamp as well.
