ntro is a fun new way to discover and connect with other students who share your interests. Looking for a study partner? Someone to join your pick-up basketball game? Curious who else shares your love of 1970’s cult zombie films, or that obscure band that barely anyone knows?

ntro makes it easy to discover what you share in common with your fellow students. You can use it to meet new people or to discover interesting connections with people you already know. Use ntro to form study groups, find a sports or workout partner, network for your career, find someone to go rock climbing with, or pretty much anything.

Registration is simple – select your interests or import them from Facebook. We’ll let you know who else on campus shares your interests. If you discover someone you want to connect with, you can send them an in-app text message (don’t worry, it won’t reveal your phone number or impact your SMS plan).

Privacy is super important to us. In fact, we’re obsessed with making sure that ntro protects your privacy at all times. ntro has a number of privacy features that set us apart from other apps:
- Exclusive to students: you must have a valid .edu email to register and use the app.
- NO location sharing: we never share your exact location with anyone. You can’t see anyone else’s location and they can’t see yours.
- NO sharing of personal info: we only ask for your first name, photo
and interests. We don’t share your last name, phone number, email, or any other information with anyone.
- NO searching of users: in ntro, you only match with students who share your exact interests. You can’t search for another user, and they can’t search for you.
- Blocking & Reporting: with one click, you can block another user, which will make you invisible to each other in the app. If you feel someone is misusing the app, you can report them and we’ll follow up on it.
- We will never share your personal information or individual identity with anyone without your consent.


Important notes: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

VOIP calls require a SIP-aware router.
